Christ Catholic Church, Province of the Prince of Peace, together with the Sacramental Community of the Coworkers of Christ, is a church rooted in the Gospel, nourished by the sacraments, and committed to living the red letters of Jesus in the world today.
We believe in the priesthood of all believers. Ministry is not limited to ordained clergy. The Church needs teachers and contemplatives, caregivers and peacemakers, artists and scholars, pastors and prophets. Every baptized person is called to ministry in some form, and part of our mission is helping people discern that calling faithfully.
For some, that discernment may lead to Holy Orders as a Deacon, Priest, or Bishop. For others, it may lead to vowed membership in the Sacramental Community of the Coworkers of Christ or to dedicated lay ministry within the Church. Whatever your vocation, we believe ministry is not about privilege or status. It is about love expressed in service.
We do not rush the discernment process, nor do we treat ordination lightly.
Jesus spent years forming His disciples before sending them into the world. We seek to follow His example. Discernment, education, formation, and practical ministry are all essential parts of preparing for Holy Orders.
We are not interested in titles without service, vestments without humility, or authority without accountability. We seek women and men who love Christ, who care deeply for people, and who are willing to dedicate themselves to a lifelong journey of prayer, learning, and ministry.
Ordination is not a reward. It is not a badge of honor. It is a sacred trust.
If you are seeking celebrity, ecclesiastical rank, or instant recognition, we are probably not the church for you.
But if you desire to serve, to grow, to love deeply, and to spend your life helping others encounter Christ, we would be honored to walk that path beside you.
Previously Ordained Clergy
If you have been validly ordained within the Apostolic Succession and are seeking incardination, we welcome a conversation.
Perhaps you have been wounded by church politics. Perhaps you have become isolated or discouraged. Perhaps you simply find yourself spiritually homeless and are seeking a place where your gifts may once again flourish.
Christ Catholic Church seeks to be a sanctuary for the least, the lost, and the overlooked—including clergy who have grown weary or been hurt along the way.
We believe ordination to Holy Orders leaves an indelible mark upon the soul. Ministry may change in form or expression, but the call of God remains.

A Word About Discernment and Holy Orders
In an age of instant everything, we believe some things should still take time.
We do not offer instant ordinations, internet consecrations, or titles without formation. Holy Orders are sacred. Discernment matters. Education matters. Character matters.
The Church has been harmed too often by ministries built upon ego rather than service, ambition rather than humility, and titles rather than discipleship.
We seek something different.
We seek clergy who love Christ more than office, service more than status, and people more than prestige.
As Christ Catholics and Coworkers of Christ, we strive to live the words of our Lord:

Requirements for Ordination or Incardination
How to Begin
If you believe you may be called to ordination, incardination, or formal affiliation with Christ Catholic Church, please begin by contacting us at:

Tell us a little about yourself, your present situation, and the vocation you believe God may be placing before you. You are also welcome to ask any questions you may have. Before beginning the application process, we encourage you to read our Frequently Asked Questions and become familiar with the Constitution and Canons of Christ Catholic Church.
Ordinarily, applicants will be asked to provide the following:
Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
A current resume, including employment history, education, ministry experience, and references.
A recent photograph and a copy of a government-issued photo identification. Additional identity verification may be required. Any sensitive personal information submitted will be protected and maintained in the confidential files of Christ Catholic Church and will not be released except as required by law or by written consent.
A written account of your faith journey, including your religious background, spiritual history, and the path that has brought you to this point. If you have previously been involved with other churches or jurisdictions, please describe that history honestly, including any conflicts, departures, or unresolved concerns.
A written statement of vocation, expectations, and goals. This should address why you are seeking ordination, incardination, or formal affiliation with Christ Catholic Church; what ministries you feel called to pursue; how you hope to serve; and how you intend to support yourself and your ministry.
A written personal history. This should include relevant information concerning your family life, relationships, marital history, financial responsibilities, physical and mental health, and any circumstances that may affect your suitability for ministry. Christ Catholic Church does not discriminate on the basis of relationship status, sexual orientation, marital history, disability, or personal struggle. We ask these questions because ministry requires honesty, maturity, accountability, and trust.
Copies of baptismal, confirmation, and ordination certificates, where applicable.
Copies of educational transcripts, certificates, or other records of theological or ministerial formation.
Letters of excardination or good standing from previous churches or jurisdictions, where applicable.
Four letters of reference: three personal references and one clergy reference.
A criminal background check, completed at the applicant’s expense.
A psychological evaluation, completed at the applicant’s expense, when required by the Church.
A non-refundable application fee of $50.00 to help cover ordinary administrative costs associated with the application process.
Once the initial materials have been received and reviewed, applicants may be assigned a Formation Director to help guide them through the remainder of the discernment and formation process.
Discernment takes time. Formation takes time. Ministry deserves that time.
